Sky Replacement Magic

Psalm 19:1

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky proclaims the work of His hands.”

When we look at the sky, we see YAH's incredible creativity. Every sunrise, sunset, cloud, and star reminds us of His amazing creation.
Think about how many different colors and patterns we see in the sky. No two sunsets look exactly alike!
As we use Photoshop to create beautiful skies, remember that we are working with images inspired by what YAH has already created.
Discussion Question: What is the most beautiful sky you have ever seen, and what did it make you think about YAH's creation?

Homework

Create two different sky replacements using Photoshop.

  1. Photo 1: Replace a boring sky with a beautiful sunset or bright blue sky.

  2. Photo 2: Replace a sky with something dramatic, such as storm clouds, stars, or a colorful fantasy sky.

Submit to Google Classroom:

  • Both original photographs

  • Both edited photographs

Make sure your edits are clean, creative, and show that you understand how to use the Sky Replacement Tool.

Remember: Great editing isn't just about changing a photograph. It's about making all the elements work together to tell a story!
