What age group are these classes for?
Classes are designed for middle school and high school students, but exact age ranges may vary depending on the course.

Do students need prior experience?
No experience is required. I teach from the basics and guide students step-by-step as they grow in skill and confidence.

What does my student need to bring?
Most classes require a laptop. Photography students may use a DSLR camera or a smartphone with a camera. Specific supply needs will be shared before class begins.

How are classes structured?
Classes meet once a week and include a mix of teaching, hands-on activities, discussion, and project-based learning. Students will work both in class and at home on assignments.

Is homework required?
Yes, light homework is assigned each week to reinforce what is learned in class and help students stay on track with their projects.

Yes. Each class includes real, meaningful projects. For example, Yearbook students will create a printed yearbook, Graphic Design students will design for a mock company, and Website students will build a live website.

How do you incorporate faith into the class?
Each class begins with a short Scripture and encouragement that connects to the lesson. My goal is to support both creative growth and character development.

How do parents stay informed?
Parents can access updates, assignments, and important information through the class website and/or Google Classroom.

How is student work graded or evaluated?
Students receive feedback based on effort, creativity, participation, and improvement. The focus is on growth and learning, not just perfection.

What makes your classes different?
Students are not just learning concepts, they are creating real work with purpose. I keep classes small so each student gets personal guidance and support.

Yes. Many projects involve teamwork, especially in Yearbook and Journalism, where students work together to create a final publication.

Lessons and assignments are available online so students can catch up. I’m also available to help guide them if needed.
