FOCUS

This year, you will be working as a team to create something from the ground up. You will identify real problems, come up with creative solutions, and build a project/business that you will present in a final “Shark Tank” style pitch.

This is more than just a project. It is an opportunity to think, create, and work together. You will learn how to turn ideas into something real.

God tells us in Scripture to “write the vision and make it plain.” That means having a clear idea, putting it into words, and making it understandable so others can see it too. This will be a key part of your work throughout this class.

You will be placed into groups of 3 students.
Your team will work together for most of the project, so choose wisely, communicate well, and be supportive of one another.

Class Activity

30 Uses Challenge

Think outside the box! You will be given a common object, a spoon. Your challenge is to list as many different uses for that object as you can in 2 minutes.

There are no wrong answers. Be creative, think big, and don't limit yourself to the object's intended purpose. The goal is to practice innovative thinking and discover that great ideas often begin by looking at ordinary things in new ways.
