Creating Your About Page
Psalm 139:14
“I will praise You because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made.”

What Is an About Page?
Have you ever visited a website and wondered, "Who created this?" or "What is this business all about?"
That is why websites have an About Page!
An About Page introduces you, your business, or your organization to visitors. It helps people understand who you are, what you do, and why you do it.
Your About Page is your opportunity to tell your story and make a connection with your audience.
1. What Should Be on an About Page?
A. Introduce Yourself
Tell visitors your name, what you do, and something interesting about yourself.
B. Share Your Story
Explain how you started your business or why you created your website. What inspired you?
C. Explain Your Mission
What do you hope to accomplish? How can you help others?
D. Add a Photo
Include a picture of yourself, your team, your work, or something that represents your business.
2. Example: Meet the Creator
Imagine you are creating a photography website. Your About Page might say:
Hi! I'm Sarah!
Welcome to Sarah's Photography! I am a young photographer who loves capturing special moments. I started taking pictures because I wanted to help people remember the beautiful moments in their lives.
My goal is to create photographs that make people smile and tell meaningful stories.
When I'm not taking pictures, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring nature, and learning new photography skills!
Class Discussion: What did you learn about Sarah? Does her story help you feel connected to her business? What else would you like to know?
